A N N U A L R E P O R T 2 0 1 6 Section 06 Governance 63 Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad The Board, via the NRC, has undertaken an assessment of the training needs of each director during the year 2016. All the Directors have attended training programmes, talks, conferences, seminars, courses and/or workshops covering areas relevant to their duties and responsibilities. In addition, the Board engaged an external legal advisor in November 2016 to brief them on the new Companies Act 2016 which was implemented on 31 January 2017.
